About me

My name is Holly Miller, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the greater Tampa area. Outside of the therapy room, I’m an avid reader, mostly through audiobooks (hehe). I’m also an artist and sculptor in my spare time, and I love getting my hands into anything creative.

I specialize in working with anxiety and ADHD, and as a recovering people pleaser myself, I truly understand how challenging it can be to balance expectations, boundaries, and self-compassion.

I aim to support you on your journey, however you define it. I’m a little quirky and enjoy bringing humor into the process when it fits. I believe healing can happen in many different ways throughout our lives, and together we’ll explore what works best for you and use those strengths to help you reach your therapeutic goals.

I’m not a “nod and clipboard” kind of therapist. I want our sessions to feel engaging, collaborative, and meaningful for both of us.

More things you can expect in a therapy session with me:

Practical tools:
I focus on giving you tools that actually work for you. Therapy isn’t just about generic breathing exercises or one-size-fits-all strategies. Together, we’ll develop approaches tailored to your life, and tools that can help both in the moment and over the long term.

A relaxed, human space:
Therapy with me is meant to feel comfortable and real. I don’t mind how you show up. Pajamas? Totally fine. Haven’t showered in a couple days? Life happens. Kids in the background, interruptions, or sitting in your car? No problem. I’m human, and I expect you to be human to. Just come as you are.

Couples sessions:
My role isn’t to take sides or blindly agree with one partner. Instead, I help create space for both people to feel heard while exploring deeper understanding, communication, and connection within the relationship.

Working with adolescents:
Therapy is never one-size-fits-all, especially for teens. Sometimes they need a therapist who can be a little silly, sarcastic, or playful right alongside them. I enjoy working with adolescents and have a lot of empathy for the experience of being a rebellious teenager finding their place in the world.
